Dr Sandrine Garnier
Sandrine is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of expertise in managing and expanding innovative speciality chemical businesses. She holds a PhD in polymer sciences and has worked with both multinational corporations and SMEs. Her passion lies in creating a positive environmental impact, and she is excited to be working with Floreon Technology on projects that prioritise renewable, sustainable, and circular solutions.
Chairman
Shaun Chatterton
A successful business owner and entrepreneur, Shaun challenged the incremental growth of single use plastics being used by his previous company.
He worked closely with Sheffield University subsequently undertaking two KTP research projects, resulting in a groundbreaking new bioplastic technology and the granting of global patent protection.
Floreon Technical Director
Dr Andrew Gill
With a PhD in materials science and over a decade of experience in bioplastics formulation and testing, Andrew has overseen numerous large-scale manufacturing trials with Floreon in a wide range of industrial processes.
A world-leading expert in bioplastic compounds, Andrew has presented at key international conferences and is responsible for our ongoing technical development, including the preparation of new patents to add to Floreon’s technology portfolio.
Supply Chain Manager
Mike Richards
Mike is a highly experienced professional within manufacturing with nearly 20 years’ experience.
He has had roles within different manufacturing environments and sectors that includes directing/managing day-to-day operations, including production scheduling, inventory management and supply chain planning. His passion is optimising supply chain processes to maximise efficiency and minimise costs for the business to grow and thrive.
He is also an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) specialist and is proficient in implementing, customising, and maintaining ERP software systems for organisations.
Mike is extremely proud to be working with Floreon Technology on projects that prioritise renewable, sustainable, and circular solutions.
Development Engineer
Cristina Ferro Barbosa
Cristina is a highly motivated and driven Development Engineer with a passion for driving positive environmental impact through sustainable biomaterials. With a Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering, specialising in biopolymers and advanced manufacturing processes. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation. As a R&D, she led projects focused on biopolymer formulations and their application in advanced manufacturing processes.
Cristina is excited about the opportunity to make an impact with Floreon as a Development Engineer, contributing her skills and knowledge to the development of innovative biomaterials that promote sustainability towards zero-waste and Net-Zero.
Technical Application Engineer
Adrian Davenport
Adrian is a seasoned Materials Engineer with a BEng degree and over 25 years of expertise in material processing. Throughout his career, he has contributed his skills to diverse sectors such as automotive, construction, and recycling. Adrian's proficiency extends to consultancy, where he has collaborated with various clients to implement innovative materials and processes across a wide variety of industries.

Creative Manager
Alison Evans
Alison works with many businesses in a variety of industries from mass retailers, consumer electronics through to toy manufacturers helping them on every touch point of design and branding. With over 20+ years of extensive knowledge of product and packaging, she works with her clients to achieve their sustainability goals through design and marketing. Alison believes that products can collectively be well designed, high performance and sustainable.
Customer Service Coordinator
Faye Shepherd
Faye is an experienced logistics and material planning professional with over 10 years of experience in managing inventory and streamlining supply chain processes across diverse industries. She is known for her strong customer service commitment, backed by excellent communication and collaboration skills.
As part of a company that is redefining the plastics industry as well as prioritising renewable, sustainable, and circular solutions, Faye is very proud to be part of Floreon. With global awareness around sustainability on the rise, she’s especially proud to contribute to Floreon’s efforts to create a more environmentally responsible future.
Non Executive Director
Jean-Claude Pierre
Jean-Claude brings extensive global experience in the speciality chemicals industry, spanning leadership, consulting, and investment roles. He worked with BASF in Germany and the USA, where he led the venture capital division, and later guided EMS Chemie’s China operations and led Scott Bader, a UK-based global polymers company.
Jean-Claude has also been instrumental in the startup ecosystem, having led Rontec, a Chinese startup focused on developing a new class of metallic foams, and serving as Chairman of Nuada since 2022, a materials company that transitioned into carbon capture technology. Since 2011, he has been a Partner at CM Venture, a China-based VC fund specialising in hard technology investments. Now based in France, he focuses on driving sustainable innovation, including founding a company developing natural cosmetic ingredients leveraging Provence’s rich biodiversity.

In November 2023 leading investor Northern Gritstone demonstrated its commitment to Floreon through a substantial £2 million investment. As a key stakeholder, Northern Gritstone anticipates substantial growth in the bioplastic market, especially those businesses focussing on high-performance materials such as Floreon.
