ABS FR, often containing halogens, limits recyclability and typically results in more landfill waste. In contrast, Floreon Therma-Tech and FlameGuard PLA is recyclable and boasts a carbon footprint (PCF) up to seven times lower than ABS FR, approximately 0.6 kgCO2e/kg compared to the 3.8 kgCO2e/kg for standard ABS FR. Moreover, it offers physical properties similar to ABS FR, such as elasticity and tensile strength, with the added benefits of high crystallinity and temperature resistance.
